It will take place in Creegans in Bunlahy
Heatseizers Motorcycle Enthusiasts Club will be holding a Halloween fundraiser on Saturday, October 25. It will take place in Creegans in Bunlahy, to help raise funds for Longford Hospice Homecare.
Longford Hospice Homecare is a worthy cause, being a seven-day homecare support service provided by a team of professionals who provide care for cancer patients and their families, as well as managing problems associated with life-limiting illnesses.

“The scourge of cancer has touched everyone's home in one way or another,” stated the club’s secretary, Noel Jordan. “The fantastic support offered by Longford Hospice Homecare is second to none supporting and helping families trying to cope through very serious illnesses.”
There will be a children’s fancy dress party from 4pm until 6pm, with prizes for best costumes. Also, the fundraiser will include games, face painting and a local portrait artist, Nicole Forster, present. A local DJ will keep “everyone bopping for the evening.” Refreshments and treats for the children will be available, as well as hot drinks and finger food for the adults.
Admission to the children’s party is free but donations for the fundraiser are gladly welcomed by the club.
Afterwards, there will be a Rock Night with some fantastic music from 8pm from local artist, Alan Lee Music, and the Mayo band, PHASE. Both of them will be providing the tunes for what is expected to be a great night of music and entertainment in aid of a good cause.
