Night-time water conservation measures to continue until Monday July 20

Residents in parts of County Longford are being advised of potential overnight disruptions to their water supply as a result of ongoing “water conservation restriction works” being carried out by Uisce Éireann.

The works - which will take place each night between 10pm and 8am - are scheduled to continue until Monday July 20.

The affected areas include Drumlish, Lettergullion, Kilmahon, Derawley, Monaduff, Bawn, Oghil, and surrounding areas.

Water conservation measures may result in temporary interruptions, reduced water pressure, or changes to supply during the overnight works.

Following the completion of each night’s work, customers are asked to allow three to four hours after the estimated restoration time for their water supply to fully return to normal.
