Highly regarded Fermanagh coach joins backroom team of reigning Longford kingpins Killoe

Highly regarded Fermanagh native and coach Owen Mooney has linked up with the backroom team of reigning Longford senior football champions Killoe Emmet Óg

Killoe, who go in search of a 16th county title in 2026, will be managed by Paul O'Hara, alongside Mooney as coach and selectors Ciaran Keogh and Brendan Conway. 

News of the quartet's appointment was announced via the club's social media page.

Paul has been an influential player at club and county level for many years and he was part of the successful Killoe senior management team who won back to back senior titles in 2019 and 2020.

Fermanagh native Owen Mooney is employed by Dublin GAA as Learning & Games Development Coordinator and was part of the coaching team that powered St Brigid’s, Roscommon to this years All-Ireland Club Final.

Ciaran Keogh was a championship winner with the club in 1995 and is a former Longford county player. He has coached Killoe underage teams in recent years.

Brendan Conway is a former Leitrim senior player and he was part of a number of Killoe's championship winning managements in the past number of years. He also doubles as kit man for the team.
