Vastly experienced Longford GAA referee Fergal Kelly will be the man in the middle for the TG4 All Ireland Intermediate Club Football Championship Final today at Croke Park between An Ghaeltacht (Kerry) and Glenullin (Derry) at 3.30pm.

Last October the Ballymahon club man took charge of his third Longford Senior Football Championship Final as Killoe Emmet Og overcame Colmcille.

Fergal is no stranger to officiating on the big day and in 2014 he was referee for the All-Ireland minor football championship final and he took charge of the All-Ireland U21 football championship decider the following year.

He has taken charge of two Leinster Club senior football championship finals (2013 & 2022), and he was also the man in the middle for the 2019 National Football League Final and provincial senior football finals in Leinster (2016) and Munster (2024).

Last Saturday week, Fergal was referee for the AIB GAA Football All-Ireland Senior Club Championship semi-final between Dingle and Ballyboden St Enda's at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh, Cork.

Best of luck to Fergal and his team of officials at GAA headquarters.
