Longford native Edel Kilemade Maguire with Cian McPhillips at the 123.ie National Athletics Awards
Two Longford athletes were the recipients of awards at the 123.ie National Athletics Awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Santry, Dublin on Wednesday, November 26.
Longford native Edel Kilemade Maguire, who now runs with Clonliffe Harriers A.C. and has represented Ireland on the inernational stage, was named Master Athlete of the Year.

While Cian McPhillips was the winner of Track Athlete of the Year and also of Inspirational Performance on Irish Soil (Morton Games) at the 123.ie National Athletics Awards.
Neighbouring Leitrim also featured as Joe Doonan of Carrigallen was awarded the Services to Coaching Award.
