Members of the Abbeylara squad and manager Declan Rowley that won the Longford Senior Football Championship in 2000 who were honoured at half time of the 2025 Peter Hanley Motors Longford SFC final at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

Abbeylara, captained by Niall Sheridan, defeated Fr Manning Gaels by 2-6 to 0-4 on September 17, 2000 to win the Sean Connolly Cup for the first time in the club's history.
The man of the match was Terry Drake.
