Clonguish star Jack Duggan impressed on his Roscommon senior debut on Friday evening in the Connacht FBD League quarter-final against Sligo at the University of Galway Connacht GAA AirDome in Bekan, Mayo.
Duggan chipped in with two points from play in a comprehensive 1-21 to 0-15 victory for the Rossies.
He played for the Longford senior football team in 2022 when Billy O’Loughlin was in charge and in November he scored 0-9 as Clonguish crushed Killoe by 0-25 to 1-6 to retain their Longford U-21 'A' championship crown.
Duggan is eligible to play for Roscommon and he declared to switch under the GAA’s parentage rule. His father Derek Duggan is a former Roscommon forward of considerable quality, winning a Connacht title in 1991.
