County Longford Golf Club was delighted to welcome former Ryder Cup Captain and Player Paul McGinley to Co Longford Golf Club for a Questions and Answers session on Saturday last. It was a truly memorable evening for the club as the members were entertained by a true legend of the game. Paul in his own intimate way shared the early years of his brilliant career including the relationship between himself and Club Captain Gary Mealia as they golfed their way through 3rd level. Paul gave our members a window to the ups and downs of golf as a Pro and an inside view of life at that level. The journey was navigated sensitively by Newstalk’s Nathan Murphy.
