Excitement is mounting in the countdown to the eagerly awaited 2024 St Mel’s Society production of ‘Legally Blonde’. Tickets available now at www.gr8events.ie/stmelslegallyblonde
The leading lady is Aisling Farrell who will be playing the role of Elle Woods - our pretty-in-pink sorority president turned lawyer who shows everyone that being yourself never goes out of style!
No stranger to the stage, Aisling (pictured) is a true triple-threat and we can think of no-one better to play this strong and beautiful character.
Some of the other principal performers in the show are Kevin Gormley (Warner Huntington 111), Natasha Brady (Vivienne Kensington), Paul Hennessy (Professor Callahan), Grainne Fox (Paulette) and Niamh O’Brien (Brooke Wyndham).
Other characters in the show include Kyle the UPS Guy (Jim Maher), Serena (Leia Victory), Margot (Aoibheann Macken), Pilar (Dearbhaile Madden), Kate (Niamh Dempsey), Enid Hoopes (Joanne Sexton) and Chutney Wyndham (Caoimhe Hennessy).
Appearing in cameo roles (no such thing as a small part!) will be Lyndsay Considine (Whitney), Sarah Hanley (Erin Schultz), Gerard Rafferty (Winthrop/Dewey), Andrew Reynolds (Pfortzheimer), Paul O’Brien (Elle’s dad), Sabina Ryan (Elle’s mum), Avril Brennan (D.A. Joyce Riley), Louise Walsh (Judge) and Crystal O’Doherty (Kiki the Colourist) and some other parts to be confirmed.
St Mel’s College Sports Hall will be transformed into a real theatre atmosphere with the major move by St Mel’s Musical Society to install tiered seating for their forthcoming production of ‘Legally Blonde’ to ensure a great view for the audience.
Tickets are selling fast for the show in St Mel's College Sports Hall, running from Tuesday, April 2 to Saturday, April 6 to include a matinee performance on the closing day of the spectacular production so early booking is advised. Get your tickets now at www.gr8events.ie/stmelslegallyblonde
The musical is based on the novel Legally Blonde by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film of the same name.
The renowned local musical society have won quite a few Association of Irish Musical Societies Awards (AIMS) over the years.
