Mostrim GAA dog night

Mostrim GAA recently launched their new fundraising event in the Mostrim Arms Hotel. The fundraiser - a night of greyhound racing - takes place at Longford Greyhound Track on Friday May 11. Tickets are now on sale and can be got from any officer of the club. Tickets are priced at (€10) and the gates open at 7.30 pm.

A great night’s entertainment is promised and all are welcome – so come along and join in the craic. Main sponsors for this fundraising event are C&D Foods who have had a close association with both the club and the town over the years. Individual races on the night have also been sponsored – the complete list is Jimmy Connell Auctioneering and Longford Energy Ratings, John Noel McGivney(Manor Nursing Home), Prunty Pitches, Charles Madden (Dental Practicioner), Paul Fay Bookies, Green & Heneghan Tyres, Quinn’s Supply Stores, John Rawle’s Butchers, Pauric Loughery Pharmacy, Anthony Reynolds (Agricultural Contractors), Joe Hughes and P.J. Tiernan Moldings Technology, Barney O’Neill Auctioneers, Paul Murtagh Auctioneers, Colette Sheridan (Physiotherapist), Girasole Restaurant and Takeaway, Enda Murphy, John Tully Pharmacy, Paul & Vincents, Brian Gibson Tyres and Sean Hannon.
