On the ball for the Leinster Junior rugby team is Longford RFC player Kieran O’Gorman who captained the province to victory over Munster in Skibbereen on Saturday last.

Longford RFC player Kieran O’Gorman captained the Leinster Juniors to a fantastic 19-13 win away to Munster in the opening round of the Junior Inter Provincials in Skibbereen on Saturday last.

There is lots of other Longford RFC involvement with Damian Curley involved in the team management, Blaithin Brady as team physio and Club President Paul Trueick as team doctor.

Another Longford RFC player Benny McManus hopes to back in the reckoning for selection for the final two matches against Ulster and Connacht as he recovers from an injury sustained for Longford in the recent Towns Cup semi-final.
