Moydow based drama group recently staged a production of Alice Lynch’s 'The Cheque’s in the Post'

The Pillar Box Drama Group, Moydow recently staged a production of Alice Lynch’s “The Cheque’s in the Post” in Ardagh Community Centre as a fundraiser for Longford Hospice Homecare in memory of the late Davy Dowler who sadly lost his long battle with cancer last year.

Davy was a dear friend to many and a member of the drama group since its inception almost ten years ago so this was a very fitting tribute to his memory.

Some members of the group recently handed over a cheque for €5,500 to the charity.

Josephine O’Donnell,  Hon Secretary of Longford Hospice Homecare thanked the group “Thank you for your kind offer to once again support Longford Hospice Homecare. It is much appreciated.”
