Day of Cruinniú na nÓg creativity, imagination and fun across Longford as striking LEGO sculpture of St Mel’s Cathedral is unveiled

Longford came alive with creativity on Saturday, June 6 for Cruinniú na nÓg, Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people under 18. There was a fun- packed programme of events across the county.

The main flagship event in county Longford was at Longford Library, where families got the opportunity to view a striking LEGO sculpture of St Mel’s Cathedral, created by brick artist Jessica Farrell.

Longford Live photographer Shelley Corcoran captured this gallery of photos from the day and we hope you enjoy them.
