Viral Irish comedian Killian Sundermann

Viral Irish comedian Killian Sundermann has been announced as the comedy headliner for the next Longford First Friday.
Killian rose to prominence with his hugely popular viral sketches which catapulted him to prominence as one of the most exciting young acts to come out of Ireland in recent years, with a staggering over 488K followers across TikTok and Instagram.


He has performed and written for several TV Shows and Internet Series, including Callans Kicks The Years, No Worries If Not, GUTF. Killian has also made an impact on the live comedy scene with solo performances at All Together Now Festival, Paddy Power Comedy Festival and Otherside festival.


This month's first Friday has been exclusively programmed by the three Backstage Young Curators (Emer Tyrrell, Daire O'Muiri and Setanta Flood) as part of Lasta Festival - a nationwide festival of arts, curated by young people for young people.
The First Fridays programme of late night music, comedy, dance and public art, on the First Friday of every month is bringing diverse entertainment to Longford Town. This exciting new venture will run from April to September and is brought to you by Backstage Theatre in partnership with Longford County Council, with funding support from the Arts Council and Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.


Other acts on the night will include singer/songwriter Sammy Copley, local acts Jousca and Homeowners and local DJ Collective Re-Jen Collective.
Killian Sundermann will play PVs Red Room on Friday, June 7 and be supported by Sophia Cadogan with MC Sinead Quinlan.
Tickets are €15 and on sale now at www.backstage.ie.
