Kiernan Milling in Granard is to hold fundraising preview evening ahead of Mullinalaghta's All-Ireland Club Championship semi-final clash with Dr Crokes of Killarney.

Mullinalaghta, the team that keeps on giving are holding a fundraiser in Kiernan Milling in Granard on Wednesday, February 13 at 8pm.

This is just three days out from the AIB All Ireland club semi-final when Dr Crokes of Killarney are the opposition at Semple Stadium, Thurles.

In what will be a stern test, Mullinalaghta are now in bonus territory, and as such they must feel a certain relief and relaxation coming up against one of the nations most powerful opponents.

Win, lose or draw, Mullinalaghta have brought immense honour to Longford county, but for such a small club the financial cost associated with training and preparing food etc., for a period that is now close to twelve months going on, is huge and the club must be admired and recognised for succeeding where no other club in the county has gone before.

Senior Club Semi Finalists is already yet another accolade that they’ve earned, to add to their treasure chest of memories.

The fundraiser should be an entertaining night with three noted pundits in the person of Dessie Dolan (pictured), Dick Clerkin and Oisin McConville taking questions from the audience. Event will be hosted by Ciaran Mullooly, promising great fun.
