Michelle Moore, one of the ‘Fab 4’ that lost more than 5 and a half stone between them, since they joined Granard Slimming World classes was recently voted Woman of the Year by her fellow members.

The four ladies achieved their fantastic weight loss under the guidance of Granard Slimming World Consultant Bríd Brady. Bríd took over the Granard group last May and on the same day her native Limerick won the Liam MacCarthy Cup for the first time after 45 years after completing her training with Slimming World.

“As a Slimming World Consultant, I am looking forward to being able to help as many people as possible achieve their goals and can only say that it’s great to have a bit of help along the way,” explained Bríd.

She said it was a great pleasure for her to see the ‘Fab 4’, Michelle Moore, Josephine Creegan, Annamay Murtagh and Kathleen, all achieve their dreams in a relatively short time.

“They all continue to attend the group and are a great help to their fellow members with recipe ideas and other tips.”

Michelle Moore was voted Woman of the Year by her fellow members in August.

Bríd remarked, “Michelle gives great inspiration every week to other members and is now part of my much appreciated social team. Michelle swapped oven chips for home-made Slimming World chips and she also uses the wide range of Slimming World meals available in Iceland. Iceland have recently added 14 new meals to their range of meals, sauces and soups.”

Bríd’s Slimming World group is being held at Sacred Heart National School, Granard on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm.

For more information or to join Bríd’s group either pop along any Thursday evening or call her on 086 372 8862.
