Search stood down for missing 36-year-old woman amid Garda update

The search has been stood down for 36-year-old woman Katie McElroy, who was reported missing last Friday, November 14.

Gardaí asked for the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Katie McElroy who was reported missing from Dublin 7.

Katie was last seen on the 7th of November 2025 in the Arbour Hill area. It was believed she travelled into Dublin City Centre.

Katie was described as being approximately 5 foot 6 inches in height and of a medium build.  She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Gardaí and Katie’s Family were concerned for her wellbeing.

In an update on Wednesday morning, Gardaí have said Katie has been found safe and well and have thanked the public for their assistance.
