The Ploughing features hundreds of stalls, ranging from organic food to jewellery.
Today's line-up of events features a huge céilí with performances from Offaly's Comhaltas, the final and results of the national brown bread baking competition and the declaration of the winners of the ploughing competition itself.
Another must-see is the wellie throwing competition in aid of charity.
With muck abound and even dirtier weather, the site is slippery, although that is no deterrent to the delighted faces photographed.
