'Crashqai' Gardaí issue warning to Nissan driver after being snapped by paramedic
A driver of a Nissan SUV was captured texting while driving by a paramedic who happened to be on the M9 at the same time.
It is understood that the video was recorded from the passenger seat of the ambulance vehicle and an off duty guard in Kilkenny met the ambulance crew who passed on the video.
An Garda Síochána Kilkenny posted a social media update which said: "Like us, Ambulance crews deal with tragedies from distracted driving every day. We've got a reg plate in the video received so enquiries shouldn't be too challenging...."
The post concluded with a warning from gardaí to the driver which simple said: "To the driver, we'll catch up soon."
