APPEAL: The anniversary of a man who vanished 25 years ago is marked
The 25th anniversary of a missing person report is marked today on February 2nd, of a man named Stephen Finnegan who has been missing from Howth in Dublin.
Stephen went missing on February 2nd in the year 2000.
He is described as being 5 ft 9 inches with a slim build, short brown hair and blue eyes.
The car which Stephen drove was found abandoned in Howth in Dublin.
If anyone has information on this case they are asked to contact the Garda station in Howth, or any Garda station.
According to new information from Garda statistics, a shocking 11014 missing persons reports were filed last year in 2024.
4080 people were reported missing, the statistics show, and 88 of those people are still not located since 2024.

Compared to 2020, there were far more people reported missing with 3334 people reported missing in that year.
Since 2020, 21 of those people were still not found.
