On Tuesday, November 5, as a result of risk profiling, Revenue officers detained approximately 350kg of counterfeit goods with an estimated value of approximately €279,000 at Dublin Airport.
The counterfeit goods were discovered in cargo which had originated in Turkey and were destined for an address in Ireland.
The counterfeit goods were confirmed by the rights holders to infringe property rights.
Investigations are ongoing.

This detention is part of Revenue's ongoing operations targeting the importation, sale and supply of counterfeit goods.
