Searches for missing teenage girls stood down as gardai issue separate updates

In separate updates, issued on Monday night, gardai confirmed the searches have now been stood down as both Stacey and Chloe have been located 'safe and well.

Searches for two teenage girls who were reported missing in recent days have been stood down by gardai who have issued separate updates.

Stacey Stokes,16, from Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin was reported missing on Monday morning while Chloe McDonagh, 15, from Navan, County Meath was reported missing on Thursday last, November 14.

In each case, gardai had issued national appeals for assistance from members of the public to help them locate the two girls.

In separate updates, issued on Monday night, gardai confirmed the searches have now been stood down as both Stacey and Chloe have been located 'safe and well.

Gardaí have thanked members of the public and the media for their assistance with the appeals.

No further information has  been disclosed publicly regarding how, when or where Stacey and Chloe were located.
