The affected products were on sale from September 2024.
The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) issued a recall on Thursday, November 14, of a popular children's toy, due to fears that there is a risk of choking present.
Flying Tiger Copenhagen is a Danish variety store chain, which sells a multitude of different products, both for children and adults.
The brand, which is home to 23 shops across Ireland, as well as a large web store, is recalling their 'Hairband with light and veil dark unicorn' product.
The risk reported to the CCPC is choking, as the lid of the battery box in not securely fastened. This means the batteries could be accessible, and become a potential choking hazard for small children.
There are approximately 49 affected products throughout the Republic of Ireland, with the affected products being on sale from September 2024.
The item number is 3056915. The barcode is 0200030569151. All batches are affected.

Customers should stop using this product immediately and keep it out of the reach of children.
Consumers are encouraged to return the toy to their nearest Flying Tiger Copenhagen store for a full refund.
