A pensioner has died two days after being attacked in Co Donegal.
The man, in his 70s, was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital after the assault in the Derrybeg area on Sunday morning.
He died late on Tuesday evening in hospital, gardai said.
A man in his 30s has been charged.
He appeared at Letterkenny District Court on Tuesday before the man’s death.
