Oisin O’Reilly - (Gerald Bolingbroke)
Oisín O’Reilly is excited on his return to St Mel’s Musical Society after 6 years to play Gerald Bolingbroke in the Longford version of ‘Me and My Girl’
Previously, he has been a chorus member for shows including a Russian guard in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, Thing in ‘The Addams Family’ and Dick in ‘9 to 5’.
A Drama and Theatre Graduate with a BA from Trinity College Dublin and a MA from University of Galway, Oisín has done it all in the theatre scene.
From pantos with BYT and Variety show appearances to the National Youth Theatre. He has even had the distinct honour of co-writing a musical with his friend Gabriel Young based on the hit TV show ‘Doctor Who’ named ‘Timey Wimey: A Doctor Whosical,’ which was performed at the University of Manchester last year.
Most recently, he performed with HystERia Téatar on their latest show ‘TAXI!’ which was performed at the Mick Lally Theatre in Galway.
He is thrilled to be back on stage with all of the St Mel’s Musical Society cast this year!
Featuring such favourite musical numbers as ‘Leaning on a Lamp Post’, ‘The Lambeth Walk’, ‘The Sun Has Got His Hat On’ and the theme song ‘Me And My Girl’, along with other classic tunes, this is a show not to be missed and early booking is advised for a seat in the fully tiered venue in St Mel’s College Sports Hall such is the big demand for the tickets.
