Trim native Emma Stowe to play the Duchess in Longford’s ‘Me And My Girl’

Emma Stowe - (Duchess of Dene) 

 Making her first appearance for St Mel’s Musical Society, Emma Stowe hails from Trim where she has been a member of the local Musical Society for 20 years. 

Roles during this time include Adelaide in 'Guys and Dolls,' Sister Mary Laz in 'Sister Act,' Kate in the 'Pirates of Penzance' and Alice in 'The Addams Family.'

Emma is a past member of Meath Youth Musical Society and has played the parts of Jan in 'Grease' and Joanne in 'Rent.' She is also a past member of St. Mary's Musical Society, Navan where she has previously played the role of Lady Jacqui in 'Me and My Girl' and Christmas Eve in 'Avenue Q.'

She has now moved to the midlands and recently played the role of Cora in 'Calendar Girls: The Musical' with Fun House, Tullamore. 

Emma is really excited to be joining St. Mel's Musical Society for one of her favourite shows. 

Featuring such favourite musical numbers as ‘Leaning on a Lamp Post’, ‘The Lambeth Walk’, ‘The Sun Has Got His Hat On’ and the theme song ‘Me And My Girl’, along with other classic tunes, this is a show not to be missed and early booking is advised for a seat in the fully tiered venue in St Mel’s College Sports Hall such is the big demand for the tickets.
