Delays are to be expected on the N4 approach road to Newtownforbes in the coming days.
Longford County Council have advised motorists that roadworks will be carried out on the road tomorrow and Wednesday.
The local authority advise that the N4 from Lamagh Rail Bridge to Newtownforbes, Longford will be subject to temporary closure on Tuesday, July 23 and Wednesday, July 24, 2024 between 9:00am and 5:00pm. These roadworks are to facilitate Pavement Survey Works.
A stop and go traffic management system will be in place for the duration of the works. Delays can be expected.
