Three members of Longford RFC helped the Midlands U16 rugby side to a great win over Metro in the Shane Horgan Cup competition at Donnybrook yesterday, (Wednesday, February 23).

A care centre that caters for adults with disabilities has come in for praise following an inspection carried out by the Health Information and Quality Authority (Hiqa).
Captained by Longford's Ciaran Heffernan, the Midlands side secured a hard earned 20-13 victory.
Longford's Yaw Appiah and James Grehan also figured prominently.
