The All-Irelands action resumed in Tullamore last Saturday with the Junior (Under-20) Championships. In the first race of the day, Robin Óg Murphy put in another excellent performance to take victory in the 3000m Walk crossing the line in 14:49. A third national title for Robin Óg this summer having already won Gold at the Schools and Juvenile championships.

A busy track season continued for Emma Brennan who added to her collection of national medals when winning silver with a good run in the 3000m Steeplechase.

Seán Grealy ran strongly in a high quality 100m just missing out on a qualifying spot from the heats. Emma and Seán are among a group of Longford athletes that make the trip to Tullamore this coming weekend as the national juvenile championships conclude. Good luck to all.
