co:worx in Edgeworthstown joins hundreds of coworking spaces across Europe for the fourth annual European Coworking Day

co:worx in Edgeworthstown is opening its doors on Wednesday, May 6 for a free European Coworking Day event, welcoming remote workers, hybrid workers and anyone curious about coworking to come in, work alongside their neighbours and experience what hub working feels like.

The event runs from 8:30am to 5pm, is free to attend and includes hot-desking, fast wifi and breakfast from 9:30am.

Spaces are limited and a free ticket is available online at https://bit.ly/49bDUE1 to help with planning.

co:worx is one of only eleven hubs taking part in the nationwide day, hosted by Grow Remote in partnership with Connected Hubs, Ireland's national hub network supported by the Government of Ireland.

For co:worx, European Coworking Day is about more than a single event. Hub manager Aideen Brennan says the day reflects a shift that is already underway in Co Longford.

Aideen remarked, “You really see the change day to day. It’s a mix of people - entrepreneurs, remote employees, small business owners - but what stands out is how local it all feels. These are people who used to spend hours commuting into cities, and now they’re walking or driving a few minutes down the road to work. There’s more time in their day, more energy in the community, and you can feel that ripple effect in the local cafés and shops. It’s not just a workspace - it’s become part of the fabric of the area.”

Tickets are free and available at https://bit.ly/49bDUE1. Spaces are limited.
