Longford dog owners have plenty to wag about as Woofland dog park opens
The new Longford Woofland dog park location at Cloondara offers two acres of secure countryside for zoomies, sniffing, training and relaxed exploration for every type of dog
Dog owners in Longford will have plenty to wag about this summer as Woofland, Ireland’s only multi‑location private dog park, opens its newest site in Cloondara on Saturday, July 11.
Woofland is a completely private and fully secure dog park where every booking gives owners exclusive access to the entire field.
There are no crowds, no unexpected encounters and no off‑lead chaos. It is simply you, your dog and acres of safe space to explore.
The park is designed for dogs of all personalities, including those who are nervous, reactive, working on recall or building confidence.
It is also ideal for energetic dogs who need room to run and for owners who want a peaceful, distraction‑free walk.
Woofland Longford includes 1.8‑metre secure fencing, a double‑gated entry system, a handcrafted fun‑agility course, seasonal photo spots and a quirky shelter so visitors can enjoy the park in any weather. Poop bags and bins are provided, and owners are encouraged to bring their own water.
All sessions must be booked online to ensure every visitor enjoys uninterrupted private use of the space.
Woofland was created by mother‑daughter duo Eileen and Clare Taylor, who set out to build a safe environment for their own dogs when they struggled to find suitable enclosed spaces.
“We built Woofland because we couldn’t find anywhere safe enough for our own dogs,” says co‑founder Clare Taylor. “Seeing dogs experience off‑leash freedom, sometimes for the first time, and just be themselves is why we started this.”
What began as a single enclosed field quickly resonated with dog owners across Ireland. Woofland has since grown into a trusted network of secure dog parks designed to give every dog the freedom they deserve, regardless of their quirks or confidence levels.
The new Longford location offers two acres of secure countryside for zoomies, sniffing, training and relaxed exploration.
Woofland Longford officially opens today Saturday, July 11, with online bookings now available at wooflanddogpark.com.
