The late Agnes Fagan
The entire local and wider North Westmeath community were saddened to learn of the death, which took place on Friday, November 6th peacefully in the loving care of her family of Agnes Fagan (nee Gavin), Finea Road, Castlepollard and formerly of Whitewell, Rochfortbridge.
The remains reposed at the residence of her daughter Nancy Gibbons, Finea Road, Castlepollard, on Saturday, November 7th from 4pm with Rosary 8.30pm. Removal took place on Sunday morning, November 8th to St. Michael’s Church, Castlepollard.
The funeral took place following concelebrated Requiem Mass led by Rev. Fr. Patrick Moore, PP Castlepollard, assisted by Fr. Jason Murphy, relative of the deceased and interment took place afterwards to St. Michael’s Cemetery.
The attendance at the removal, Mass and funeral was very large and widely representative of the esteem in which the deceased was held. Agnes had been predeceased by her beloved husband Tom five years ago.
She was devoted to her family, and will be sadly missed not alone by her immediate family, but by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
The deceased is survived by her loving daughter Nancy, son Oliver, son-in-law Michael, daughter-in-law Mary, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends to whom deepest sympathy is extended.
