North Longford Men’s Group
Over the past weeks our meetings have been very busy. Information awareness session on community supports and the fair deal scheme facilitated by Pat, also Aidan from Bank of Ireland informing the group on how banking is evolving over the coming years and how to over come these issues. Many thanks to Pat and Aidan for facilitating the sessions. On Saturday November 1st the news spread of the ultimate and sudden death of Joe Doyle, a great friend and valued member. Joe was one of our core members of the group who was at the initial setting up over ten years ago. A true gentleman, Joe was known widely for his musical talents. He always had his “box” (accordion) at weekly meeting, social events and always took it on our outings. We extend our deepest sympathy to the Doyle Families.
The group send good wishes Peter and Paddy who are presently in hospital. Our meeting continue on Fridays 12 – 3, A warm welcome to new members. For further information don’t hesitate to contact Breda on 043 3347515 or any group member.

Good luck to all involved.
