The Quare Land

Acclaimed play by John McManus, directed by and starring the award-winning Seamus O’Rourke with Shane Carroll, hosted by Bunlahy Area Action Group on Friday 8th November at 8.30pm in Granard Community Centre. Mostrim GAA

All officers who wish to stand again next year or who wish to step down should give their names to Michael Burke. Anyone interested in becoming an officer for the new year should make their interest known as soon as possible. There was no jackpot winner in the last Lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 5, 8, 18, 19. Twenty-five Euro winners were Maggie Reilly Devine Crescent, John Dunne, Bernadette Walsh and Brendan Kenny Lisnagrish.

Mostrim players

Mostrim players are holding a fund raising spooktacular 5Km fancy dress walk/run on Sunday 27th October 2013. Registration is at 11.00 a.m. at the Park House Hotel. Adults are €10 and children are €5 – The 5km commences at 12 noon at Loughrey’s but please note only those registered are permitted to take part. Parent and Toddler Group

Bodhran Workshop

Special bodhran workshop given by junior Davey on Bank Holiday Monday on the Green in Edgeworthstown. Beginners and under 18’s from 11am til 12.30 pm. Afternoon session for adults from 1.30 until 3pm. All welcome. Call Pauline on 086-1513152.

Traders Association

A Meeting will be held for Edgeworthstown Traders on Tuesday 29th October at 8.00 p.m., in the Old Schoolhouse. It is very important that all traders attend.
