Many congratulations to Ballymahon Vocational Schools Senior D football team who had a huge success in the All-Ireland Final of the Senior D Football championship when they beat Ballingarry, Co Tipperary by 1-13 to 4pts. A large crowd of supporters from Ballymahon and surrounding areas travelled to O’Moore Park in Portlaoise on Tuesday last to see a very-well executed game plan which brought the All-Ireland title back to Ballymahon for the first time in history, much to the delight of all the students, teachers, parents and supporters. The Cup was presented to a very happy captain, Enda Farrell from Carrickedmond.
