Set Dancing classes for adults are starting in the Community Centre, Edgeworthstown on Thursday, 13th November from 8 to 10pm. €5 per class come along and enjoy a great night’s entertainment. For further information contact Shane on 087 7921362.

The Longford Region PTAA Annual Dinner Dance takes place in The Rustic Inn, Abbeyshrule on Friday night. Music by Chuck & June. Dinner 9pm. Tickets €25.

Dancing Classes

Irish Dancing classes are now resuming after the Halloween break in Ardagh Community Centre on Tuesdays at 5.45pm, per child per lesson with an overall family rate of €10 per lesson with further reductions for children who pay by the month. No wigs, fake tan or make up for dancers. Children can dance for competition or enjoyment. Parents welcome to stay at classes if they so wish. Contact Maureen on 086 3702719 for further information.

Community Walkway

St. Patrick’s G.A.A. Club are pleased to announce the community walkway project at Keenan Park is now complete. This fully lit track is available to everyone in the community to exercise safely, particularly now the autumn/winter evening have set in. The lights are switched on each evening from 5pm to 10pm, so we look forward to seeing as many people as possible from the parish availing of this facility.
