Social Dancing

Social dancing in The Chestnut Tree  Killashee with Eamonn Cunniss. He’s mighty. Wear a t-shirt as he really turns it up.  A full workout. Very lively & colourful charachter. Great music. Perfect venue.  Do come along and enjoy every Sunday evening from 5p.m. to 7 p.m. Waltz, Jive, Quick Step, Shoe the donkey, Stack of Barley and a spot of line dancing. Any dance you want, he’s got it.  

Well done

Well done to local lad, James Quinn, Nappagh, who played a major part in the Panto, Happily Ever After, in the Backstage Theatre last week. Also well done to all the cast and backroom team for a splendid performance.

Mid-term Camp at Club Ardagh

February Mid-term Camp at Club Ardagh Thursday 20/2 Fun Day.  Friday, 21/2: Reptile day. Activities include: Arts & Crafts, Baking, organized games and activities, visit from Jungle Dave on the Friday. Time: 9:30 - 3:00pm.  Cost: 12 euro per day. Ages: 3 - 12 years welcome. Children need to bring a snack and a packed lunch with them on the day. Places are limited so please book in advance.  To book a place, contact Club Ardagh on 043 66 75797 or 086 125 0549.

Indoor Soccer

There was a fantastic response to indoor soccer this year with 20 boys taking part for AMG. Hard luck to the 3 Boys teams in the U13 competition that were all knocked out after their matches last week. Thank you to the Team Managers Michael Hayden, Padraig Smyth and Paddy McPhillips for organising the indoor training sessions and taking charge of all the teams. Results for U10 Boys and the girls teams next week.

County Table Quiz

Three teams from AMG had a fun night at The Park House taking part in the Annual County Community Games Table Quiz last Friday evening. Thanks to Janice and Eamon O’Kane for giving their time on the night to help the quiz run smoothly. Table Tennis competition will take place in February so be sure to come to the Friday evening Youth Activities in Ardagh Community Centre 7-8pm to practice. If interested sign up with Barry Callan or Eamon O’Kane. Handwriting competition will be coming up very soon.
