Scor Instrumental Group

Best wishes to our Scor Instrumental Group who will represent Co Longford in Scor Encore on Wednesday, February, 12th in The RTE studios. This group consists of Aishling and Emma O’Reilly, Owen and Kirsten Smith and Ciaran Mulligan. Best of luck to all concerned.

Bodhran Workshop

Bodhran Workshop on the Green on Saturday, 15th February with Junior Davy. Beginners and children from 11.30 to 1pm.  Adults and advanced from 1.30 to 3pm. To book a place call 086-1513152. €10 each with family concessions.

Kids Fitness Classes

Liam Keenan Fitness classes for kids every Saturday at 11.00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Community Centre, Edgeworthstown. Boys and girls of all abilities aged 7-12 years. Tidy Towns

The Tidy Towns AGM will take place on Thursday, 6th February at 8pm, upstairs in the Old Schoolhouse, Ballymahon Road. New members welcome for 2014.

Irish Blood Transfusion Service

Irish Blood Transfusion Service will be in the Longford Arms Hotel on Tuesday 4th, Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th February from 4.30 p.m. – 8p.m.

Mostrim GAA

There is a Presentation Night and Social in the Mostrim Arms on Saturday, 8th February at 9.30pm. All are welcome. There was no jackpot winner of the last lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 4, 12, 18, 24. Twenty-five euro winners were Donal Brady, Mary Kelly, Seamus Whelan, Theresa Hogan, Ardagh.

Pitch & Putt

A meeting of Granard Pitch and Putt Club will be held on Wednesday, 5 February at 8.30pm in St. Mary’s GAA Clubhouse. All members please attend as some important items have to be discussed. Registration days will be held on Saturday, 8 February between 12.00 and 3.00pm and on Sunday, 9 February between 10.00am and 12.30pm.
