Local correspondent retires
After eight years as local correspondent, I have decided to retire in order to pursue a long held ambition of mine to write a book. I will continue to do the notes until Wednesday, February 26th. I hope that somebody in the area will continue to write the local notes for The Longford Leader, The Leitrim Observer and The Roscommon Herald. For further details please contact me, Teresa Dooner on 087-2394234. There are many people to whom I am indebted to for their help over the years and a more detailed acknowledgement will follow next week.
