The restoration of St Mels Cathedral is progressing very well. An open day will be held on Sunday Sept 29 when you are welcome to come and view the progress for yourselves. The Cathedral will open from 1.30pm to 4.30pm and this event is free of charge.

A meeting will be held in Cloone Community Centre on Tuesday 17th September at 9pm to discuss the format of a senior citizens party prior to Christmas. All welcome.
Fundraiser in aid of Oisin McGovern (aged 3 yrs) on Friday 20th September in Js Hotel, Mohill. Doors open at 9pm. Great music on the night. Oisin is the son of John and Patrice (Cloone & Mohill) who is receiving treatment for a rare childhood cancer in Crumlin Childrens Hospital. Tickets to the event available locally at 5 euro.

Folk art class commencing in LAPWD centre Mohill on this Monday Sept 16th from 11am to 1pm. This is a fun class and no experience required so come along on Monday and get involved.
