John McHugh, Clondra

The death has taken place of John McHugh formerly of Killeenreveagh and James Street, Claremorris. Reposing at St. Joseph’s Hospital Chapel, Dublin Road, Longford, today, Thursday, from 5pm until removal to St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, arriving at 7.30pm. The funeral mass will take place tomorrow Friday from 12 noon. Burial will follow at Ballymacormack cemetery.

Vincent Reilly, Drumlish

The death has taken place of Vincent Reilly of Clonellan, Drumlish, Co. Longford. Funeral arrangements to follow.

Billy Feely, Boyle

The death has occurred of Billy Feely of Marion Road, Boyle, Co Roscommon. Funeral arrangements to follow

Bridget (Bridie) Mulvihil, Frenchpark

The death has occurred of Bridget (Bridie) Mulvihil (nee Gordon) of Frenchpark, Co Roscommon.

She died peacefully at the age of 95 at the Mayo General Hospital. Deeply mourned by her beloved children, her daughter Anne, son John, her grandchildren, as well as her great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law, son-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at The Sharkey Funeral Home, Frenchpark on Thursday evening from 6.30pm, followed by prayers at 7pm. Removal to Frenchpark Church, arriving at 8.30pm. Mass of the Resurrection on Friday at 12 noon, with the funeral proceeding to Kilmaryl Cemetery.

Family flowers only are requested, and donations, if desirable, be made out to the Kidney association of Ireland

Gerry Caslin, Strokestown

The death has taken place in Manchester of Gerry Caslin of Strokestown, Co Roscommon. Reposing at McHugh’s Funeral Home, Strokestown, tomorrow, Friday, from 6.30pm, followed by removal at 8pm to the Strokestown Parish Church. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday at 1pm, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

The staff and management of the Longford Leader wish to extend their sympathies to those bereaved.
