Ardagh Bowls Club came into being in 2009 and has made enormous strides since then. The Club joined the Westmeath Bowls League in 2011. At present, we have two teams playing in the League, one in Division 1, after they won the Division 2 League in 2013, and the second team in Division 2. We have 22 active members playing in local competition as well as the Westmeath Bowls League. Our club have four indoor Bowling mats and several sets of Bowls available to our members. We play on Thursday nights at 8pm in the local Community Centre, Ardagh. The Club has hosted the Westmeath Doubles Championship for the last two years and it has been a great success with the local teams being named runners up both years. Anyone who would like to play bowls in Ardagh can contact Dean Victory on 087 2717117 or Sean Farrell on 087 9083115.
