St Patrick’s GAA

We are hosting a ‘Night at the Dogs’ at Mullingar Greyhound Track at Mullingar Greyhound Stadium on Saturday, October 11th. The event forms part of the fundraising undertaken by the Club this year and will assist in providing the finance necessary to continue to develop the facilities at the club’s Keenan Park. In recent years developments at the club grounds have included the provision of an ‘all-weather’ playing pitch, a training pitch, a new stand and perimeter walls around the grounds. The most recent development at Ardagh has been the development of a community walkway. This fully lit track, available to all, will allow the community to exercise safely, particularly as the longer autumn and winter evenings set in. Tickets for the evening at Mullingar Greyhound Track will be on sale in the next number of weeks. Priced at €20, the ticket allows for entry to the races on the night, a race card and entry into a draw for €2000, based on the result of a ‘Buster Race’ on the night. Tickets are available from the following team captains: Tom Henry, Brendan Hanley, Paddy Farrell, Mary O’Brien, Declan Kenny, Frank Donlon, Liz Farrell, Rory Farrell, Andrew Lynch, Imelda Keenan, Sean Farrell, John Kelly, David Farrell, Sean Kiernan, Dean Victory, Martin Halpin, Martin Keane, Michael Lynch. The price also includes transport from the village on the night to Mullingar for those who wish to avail of this, and those wishing to avail should indicate their interest to the ticket sellers. The club hopes to see a huge number of Ardagh people, and indeed friends from all parts of the county, attend on the evening and a great evening’s entertainment is guaranteed
