The launch of Jude Flynn’s “Fireside Tales” has taken place. This is the 11th book in a collection of 12 which Jude has written on the social history of the county of Longford. They make an excellent gift for friends and family, particularly those living away from their Home County, and are a testament to the great love Jude has for Longford and its people. The book can be purchased at Jimmy Donoghue’s, Main Street, Granard.
Granard garden club are holding their Christmas Floral demonstration in Lus Na Greine Granard at 8.00pm on Monday next December 16. All arrangements will be raffled on the night and festive refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome.
