Wedding Bells
The marriage took place on Saturday, September 21st in St. Mary’s Church, Drumlish, of James Waters, Fearglass North, and Orla Dunne, Clooncoose, Longford. Main celebrant at the wedding ceremony was Rev. Thomas Healy assisted by Rev. John Quinn and Rev. Bernard Hogan. Bridesmaids were Sharon and Maria Dunne. Bestman was Kieran Waters and Damien McGarry was the groomsman. The beautiful church music was by Fionnula Maxwell. A lovely wedding reception for the guests was held in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick on Shannon. We wish James and Orla many years of health and happiness in their married lives.

Football Fare

Congratulations to Jimmy Guckian of Tooman who added another Leitrim senior championship medal to his collection when he helped his club, St Mary’s to success in last Sunday’s final at Páirc Sean.

Sympathy

We offer our condolences to the family of local Mohill Correspondent, Teresa O’Reilly who sadly passed on to her eternal reward last week. May she rest in peace.

Cookery Demonstration

Ballinamuck ICA in association with Bord Bia present a Cookery Demonstration and Food Fair (presenter Maire Dufficy, Bord Bia) in 98 Memorial Hall, Ballinamuck on Thursday, October 3rd at 8 pm. Doors open at 7.30 pm. Admission 10 euro. Raffle on the night with proceeds going to AWARE.
