The ICA are holding a craft fair on Saturday, 25 July from 10am – 5pm in the Temperance Hall, Longford with displays and demonstrations, plus plenty of home made products. Refreshments served on the day and everyone is very welcome.

The parish extend sincere sympathy to Anita Bratten, (nee Farrell) and families, Kiltyreher, Killoe; Farrell families, Curraghroe, Co Roscommon, extended families, friends and neighbours on the sad bereavement of their father James Farrell, Co Roscommon who was laid to rest last week. Requiem mass was celebrated in Ballagh Church, Curraghroe with burial in local cemetery. May he rest peacefully.

Killoe minor club

New baby

Ah! Ah! The pain is over but the labour only begins! Congratulations to our loving son Justin and wife Susan McMahon – Hughes who are now the proud parents of a big bouncy baby boy and we trust in God for a great healthy, happy future to the proud parents, grandparents, extended families and friends, but son, remember don’t pay any heed to your mother’s advice. Welcome baby Patrick Thomas to the community. Deo Gratias!
