Christmas Camp at Club Ardagh

Monday  22/12:  Christmas Arts & Crafts, Christmas Ornaments & Card Marking and much more. Tuesday 23/12: Christmas Celebrations & Party, Baking, Christmas Fun & Games. Time: 9:30-6:00pm. Cost: 20 euro per child, Ages: 3-12 years welcome. Children will need to bring a snack and a packed lunch with them on the day. Dinner is included. Places are limited so please book in advance. Church of Ireland Services

The following Church Services will be held in the Ardagh Group of Parishes during the Christmas season, to which all are welcome. Sunday December 21st: Carol Service in Kenagh Church at 11.30am. Christmas Eve: Holy Communion in Tashinny Church at 7pm. Holy Communion in Kenagh Church at 9pm. Christmas Day: Holy Communion in Ardagh Church at 10am. Holy Communion in Ballymahon Church at 11.30am. Sunday December 28th: United Service for the group of parishes in Ballymahon Church at 11am (please note time). Private Holy Communions for Christmas to the sick and housebound and to those in Nursing Homes will be administered by the Rector during the two weeks before Christmas Day.

Charity Cycle

A 20k and 50k charity cycle in aid of Palliative Care Longford is taking place on St Stephens Day, Friday 26th December, in Granard. Starting at JV Donohoes corner house. Registration at 9am. 50k starts at 10am, 20k starts at 11am. Refreshments served midway and afterwards. Cycle in memory of Breege Gallagher, Granard. Please support. 

Gun Club

The Moydow Gun Club Christmas Hamper draw will take place on Sunday, 21st December in Kearney’s Bar. Hamper includes a free range turkey, bonded ham, mince pies and much more to the value of €300. Second prize €100, 3rd prize €50. Tickets €5 for a book a 3. Your support will be greatly appreciated.

Meals on Wheels

Co. Longford Social Services who provide that magnificent service of Meal on Wheels in the parish and throughout the county will hold their annual church gate collection this coming weekend Saturday, 20th December. Your generosity for this very worthy cause is very much appreciated.

Mass Times Christmas Eve & Christmas Day

Christmas Eve Mass at 7pm in St Mary’s, Moydow. Mass at 9pm in St Brigid’s, Ardagh. Christmas Day Mass at 11am St Brigid’s, Ardagh. The sick and housebound will be visited on Tuesday, 23rd December.

Ardagh Challenge

The 10 mile Ardagh Challenge and 5k Fun Run takes place on Sunday, 28th December at 1pm at Keenan Park GAA Grounds. €10 entry fee. Proceeds to Ardagh/Moydow/Glen Community Games. Register on line or on the day from 11am. Please support.
