Gardening club

The April meeting of Castlepollard Gardening Club was fun garden quiz and a bring and buy sale. Thanks to John Higgins who was question master and to Peter Earley and Muire Courtney-Earley who gave the music questions in song. Sheila Kennedy judged the competition for the three best tulips and was very impressed with the high standard of entry. The next club meeting is a visit to Robert and Sidney Boaden’s Garden outside Kilcogy on Thursday next, May 29th. Members will meet in the Parish Community Centre car park at 7pm and travel from there by car.
