We offer sincere sympathy to the family, neighbous and friends of Tommy Clancy late of Ferriskil who passed to his eternal reward last week following a long illness.Tommy’s mortal remains were laid to rest in Granardkille cemetery on Monday following Mass in St.Joseph’s Hospital chapel.May he rest in peace.

LUS NA GREINE

Thanks to our outgoing Chairperson: It is with regret that the Board of Directors of the Centre have accepted the resignation of Marian Masterson as Chairperson. Marian has been a committed Chairperson and loyal volunteer since the founding of the Centre in 2007. She worked tirelessly for the project bringing with her a wealth of professional skills and wide experience. The members are delighted however that Marian will continue her work with the Centre, all be it, in a different capacity. Brian Lynch has been appointed to the position of Chairperson and Ms. Gretta Tynan, Killasonna, has also been appointed as a new Director. They are both wished well.
