CAVAN’S GOT TALENT - Local girl and Abbeylara native Stephanie Donohoe gave a spectacular performance at the opening of the popular show in the Imperial Bar on Friday night last to make it through to the next round. Good local support would be appreciated for this talented singer to remain in the competition.

HORTICULTURE

Course begins next month in the Realtog Centre, Kilnaleck - e30 which can be paid in instalments. The course will run in the evenings and covers basic knowledge and skills needed to grow, maintain and develop appreciation of nature and environment. For more information contact 049.4336070.

GOOD SHOW

Well done to the Laragh Utd. GFC who hosted Strictly Come Dancing in the Kilmore on Saturday night last and left no stone unturned to make it a huge success. Local dancer Fergal Brady (who can turn his hand/foot to anything) and partner gave a dazzling performance and really looked the part as did his cousin Anne Marie Lynch.
